Die Flächenagentur GmbH

Die Flächenagentur GmbH im Städtequartett wurde im Jahr 2000 gegründet. Gesellschafter der GmbH wurden die Städte Damme, Diepholz, Lohne und Vechta.

Aufgabe und Zweck einer der ersten Flächenagenturen in Deutschland war und ist der Ankauf von Flächen, die durch landschaftspflegerische Maßnahmen zu einem interkommunalen Kompensationsflächenpool ökologisch aufgewertet werden.

Wir vier sind das Städtequartett

Hinter dem Namen „Städtequartett“ verbirgt sich eine seit 1994 bestehende Kooperation zwischen den niedersächsischen Städten Damme, Diepholz, Lohne und Vechta.

Dort leben und arbeiten zurzeit rund 100.000 Menschen. Die Arbeitslosenquote liegt weit unter dem Bundesdurchschnitt. Gute Infrastruktur, hervorragende Berufschancen gepaart mit hohem Freizeit- und Erholungswert sind ein Markenzeichen.
